Put the Final Touch on Your New Smile With Professional Teeth Whitening

You’ve put in the work to straighten and realign your teeth. But, now that they’re straight, you want them to shine as well. If so, it’s time to put the final touch on your new smile with professional teeth whitening at Duval Orthodontics.

Why choose professional teeth whitening over store-bought products

Using store-bought whitening products may offer some convenience, but these products don’t work nearly as well as professional whitening. This is because over-the-counter (OTC) products have lower concentrations of hydrogen peroxide.

Not only do store-bought products take much longer to whiten your teeth, but they only whiten your teeth a few shades. In the end, you’re waiting longer just to slightly whiten your teeth. And if you don’t properly use OTC whitening products, your teeth can get an uneven shade.

Store-bought whitening kits aren’t made specifically for your smile. The strips and trays you find at the store don’t match the shape and size of your teeth, which can result in gum irritation.

If you have crowns or fillings, using OTC whiteners can make them stand out in unwanted ways if you don’t use them properly.

Professional teeth whitening from Dr. J.A. Duval yields better results in less time. With professional teeth whitening, your teeth get an even shade and we make sure to not irritate your gums.

What to expect with professional teeth whitening

Duval Orthodontics wants nothing more than to give you a healthy, radiant smile that you’re proud of. But we also want to make your whitening treatment as convenient and hassle-free as possible, so we offer two teeth whitening options: in-office whitening and at-home whitening.

In-office teeth whitening

Choosing to have your teeth whitened in-office ensures proper, even application under the supervision of Dr. Duval. He typically uses a strong bleaching solution to whiten the outer layer of your teeth.

With deeper stains, he may use a special light that helps the bleaching agents penetrate tough stains.

At-home whitening trays

We offer at-home whitening trays to help you save time and make your whitening experience more convenient. After we take an impression of your teeth, we make custom-fitted bleaching trays that fit comfortably over your teeth.

This option takes a little longer than in-office whitening but allows you to maintain your busy schedule.

The process of straightening teeth isn’t easy, and you shouldn’t have to hide all of your hard work and dedication. Teeth whitening is the solution you’ve been looking for.
